Love it, Beautiful. Ireland and Irish remind me so much of Newfoundland and Newfies.
sharon that was awesome. thank you.

Another fellow Canadian, Loreena Mckennitt, I love, love this woman. Celtic. Wendy and myself have a Welsh background.
I fall to sleep listening to her music, it calms me.
I love her too, she has an amazing voice.
Okay one more for Tina in Ireland.
she has an incredible voice. thank you ruth, i jut listened to the one on the link then went to “she moved through the fair”. beautiful
OK one more Loreena McKennitt, her voice is just so moving.
that gave me chills. she has an incredible voice.
Tina, I love this! And Sharon, never been to Ireland or Newfoundland (Yet) but agree they are great, from what I know and see. My father was born in Nova Scotia, so I know I’ve got a bit of that blood in me! Best, Molly
with a name like molly! yes~
tina, thank you, that was precious and now if you would…back to “m” talk, i would so very much appreciate you’re telling me how much msm you ingested (if you did ingest) said stuff? i read on one msm website, that a therapuetic (sp?) amount of msm is so much more than most would think. i won”t even mention the amount they suggested to be taken on a daily basis. thank you in advance, gayla
ok, “m” is working it’s stuff on me, i don’t see so well, do to morgellons, so therefore i typed a ” for a ‘ and the ocd that morgellons has made so much worse in me, won’t leave that typing error alone…compelled to try to correct typo.lol…but not really funny
hello fuzzy and welcome, just to make sure, are asking about MSM (Methylsulfonylmethane) and not MMS (miracle mineral supplement)? let me know. i have some definite feelings about MSM (good ones)
tina and sharon, thank you both for your replies, i was referring to msm, the sulphur stuff and while i’m at it, does anyone know anything about alpha lipoic acid? i took 300mgs this am w/1200mgs nac and i’m feeling quite yucky right now, which seems to happen to me when something seems to be working to address “m”, but i’m having some pretty pronounced anxiety as well. i have a friend that has “m” as well as i do and she told me to go easy on ala in that, she said “it’s pretty powerful stuff”…so of course my reasoning being “more is better”by now. i’ve had “m” for six years as of sept/oct 06,but whose uh countin’
the only good thing about counting the years is that you will forget tomorrow! i am join to finish this comment in a different box because i always lose them in this box
Gayla, it sounds like you are herxing. Nac is pretty powerful stuff also. Are you familiar with mr Common Sense site: it is a wordpress one also called A Mundane Approach he has listed there a Poor Mans Protocol or PPM2, I believe. Nac is one of the supplements on his list. Start slow more is not better; though i know it is tempting. Another good site is Morgellons Focus on Health. Also Ayla’s site Morgellons Disease Awareness.
I was given some great advice by Trisha Springstead, RN : if itching is keeping you awake at night take some night time benadryl. It really helps. Not a cure but sometimes we just need a good nights rest.
Another mistake I made was jumping from one protocol to another; not giving it enough time.
Another good tip came from Pamela Crane at Morgellons Focus on Health to call Metamatrix labs and get names of doctors that use there services. in your zip code.
They don’t necessarily treat or acknowledge M but probably practice good medicine. Though you could ask them to put the special code for M on the requisition (it is either 195 or 125) check Pamela’s website under Metamatrix Labs.
hi fuzzy. ok the msm, i am glad thats the one you asked about. I am no expert but i have to tell you it has been amazing for me. i have found that different brands are definitely different! in the beginning i started off with 1000 mg. i was taking other stuff and was herxing my behind off, what it was from ? probably a combo. later n when i was much better i started upping my msm dose. jarrow is the brand i like so far, though there is another source i am looking into. this guys sells a big oil bag of it and he is really into msm. it might be good but i have to follow up on that. like you i started reading that therapeutic doses get much higher. i looked into the toxicity and FOR ME personally oi decided to try upping my dose slowly and see what happened. i started by taking 4000 mg (though i had already been taking 2 and 3 1000 mg caps a day). then i started adding 1000 more milligrams a day (each day I bumped up 1000 more). sounds like a lot i know. do remember at this point i had done a lot of healing and detoxing. i payed attention for aggravated anything. all seemed good and this is the part that i don’t know if i should say out loud, please remember i am only telling you what i did. i worked up to about 15,000 mg a day. what happened? i will tell you. my hair and finger nails grew like crazy. my skin smoothed out incredibly. scars softened. my finger and toenails were growing so fast i had to cut them like crazy. also they became extremely smooth. when i was very sick my nails were deformed from all the crud in my fingers. sometimes i still just sort of of feel the tops of my finger nails with my finger tips. they are very smooth with no ridges. i noticed a BIG difference. smooth skin too. i had read they call it the beauty mineral. also i give it to my dog. if it’s good enough for a race horse then it’s good enough for bunny right! same for him..shiny fur. another thing i started doing was putting msm powder in my shampoo, liquid soaps and into aloe and coconut oil. all kinds of things. it’s great in witch hazel as a facial spritz. you will notice he stuff drying up and not being able to get into your skin like it could before.
i read lots and looked around on the internet before i decided to go big on my doses of msm. i would suggest anyone else that wants to do this to do the same. moms is not jsut excellent for detoxing, that organic sulphur seems to be really effective against what ever morgellons is.
another thing that helped me to make the decision to take those very high doses was a girl that had morgellons very bad. i mean real sick and in bed was able to recover. she also did the very high msm doses. i am not saying it was from the high msm doses but she did NOT get sicker but in fact went on to recover from a very debilitated morgellons s state. she apparently made a complete recovery too. she is the morgellons slyer on youtube and she has an audio video where she talks about the high msm doses she did.
sorry long comment. i will finish by saying i now take about 4000 to 5000 milligrams when i do take it. i am well now and don’t take supplements like i used to. but msm is one i want to keep in my life because what it does for my skin, hair and nails. also i got some gray hair when i got sick. i don’t know if it was the msm that made it go away but it is gone now. if you feel like msm is something you want to take often you might want to look into getting a big tub of the powder and putting it in caps yourself. some people add it to oj and drink it, it has a bad taste but…
the benefit of buying the loose powder is that it is much more economical and also you can put the powder into your skin and hair products. oh ya, it’s great fro oral hygiene too. i hope my spelling is not too bad. this comment is so long, i am not going to check spelling.
tina, bless you and thank you, you are simply one more God send… i’m reminded, sulphur, sulphur, sulphur, and sulphur once more. gayla
oh such kind words. thank you. i believe in sulphur
Gayla, let me pipe in here. We have talked of 2 very different things. MSM
an organic type of sulfur good for arthritis and inflamation full name is
Methylsulfonylmehane. This is what Tina spoke of taking in much larger quantities than recommended, which is not likely to be harmful. Sulfur is a very old anti biotic before the days of penicillin. Tina can expound on hte benefits, I just wanted to clear the common confusion between MSM and MMS.
More recently we spoke of MMS marketed as Miracle Mineral Solution by Jim Humble the chemical name is Chlorine Dioxide or CLO2. This is what I burned my hair off with. It is sold as a water purifier and in Humbles book recommended for everything from malaria to cancer. Many believe in it, one can bathe in it but FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS which you have to buy the book for they do not come with the product.
ahhhh. thank you sharon. i wanted to make sure too!
Some more of Great Big Sea in Newfoundland:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8UMV36zYs58&feature=relmfu
they really are spirit lifting!
Love gaelic music, even the drunken lullabies i find uplifting.
Oh speaking of dirt mouth, one of my Dad’s favourite cuss words was “Jesus Jumpin Murphy” that way you were not taking the lord’s name in vane. Very Irish.
i so love them too! i often think of the ireland and what i call the Irish way. it is a sweet kind of despair. bitter sweetness. being sad here is different. you probably know what i am referring too. sadness or melancholia is not looked at like a weakness. despair is not looked at like the opposite of happiness. it has its own category and not considered a weakness that needs to be medicated. it’s given respect as it is almost holy ground where one can sit with themselves and lick their wounds and still have pride. i think i got that last bit off oscar wilde “where there is sadness there is holy ground”.
Tina where can I purchase MSM from a reputal company in the USA? Cath
hello cath, this link i am providing is an article on natural news at the bottom of it is a link to a source of msm i have not tried it yet but i really want to. it j thats all that guy sells. seems like it is his “one” thing. often this is a good indicator to the possible quality of something. now i take jarrow brand msm. so far i like it the best. i have tried several other brands i think were junk honestly. actually after i post this message i am going to order some from the Hawaiian guy (he is the guy they are talking about in the natural news article that this link is for)
hey ladies, i’ve been away from this site a few days, just read up on more of your responses, thank you all, ya’ll are precious…i’m currently taking a garlic supplement and it seems to be busting up “m” biofilm, pardon the graphics, but i’m tinkling black flecks and squiggly mucousy things, (due to) and not (do to), as stated in a previous comment, the garlic supplement. i read today, a comment by a fellow “m” sufferer, that i believe is right on re what morgellons is…how about this one…morgellons is an antifungal agrobacterium, designed or developed to eat or feed off of any fungus that may form in agroculture. this dude that commented was brilliant, he connected the dots re cotton being comprised of 90% cellulose, where as, i’ve read that fungi are comprised of cellulose as well. i bet we’re on to something w/this. when i told my friend(that has morgellons as well) this “news”, she said “this is big.”
H ey Fuzzy, can you give us a link to that discussion about that anti fungal eating cellulose. If not a link, the name of the forum or website? I find that very interesting.
funny, i have been playing around with making vinegar and have a psot partly written about it. Here is the start:
Morgellons, Motor Cycle Maintenance, and Mothers
I woke up with some thoughts.
I guess I should first explain the title. I’ll start with the mother part. I have been wanting to make vinegar. So I am trying to get a mother of vinegar. To get a mother you can buy one or make your own. I want something a little different so I am waiting for a fly to land in a bottle of sugar water with a banana peel in there for added motivation. You see I need a fly to “inoculate” the water with some of the acetobacter that he has on his feet. While I am waiting for that fly to land in my sugar and banana peel water, wild yeast will land and begin converting the sugar water to ethanol. The acetbactor from the fly will convert that ethanol to acetic acid in a second ferment. As she builds herself she looks like a web of sorts that will congeal into a slime disc that falls to the bottom. That’s the “The Mother” and she makes the vinegar. All vinegar comes from the mother. Though in most cases it will be heated to kill and stop all microbial action. In this case I am only after a mother not the bugs and rotting banana mixture. When she is done I will pull her out and toss the rest and use bits of the mother in various liquids to get different types of vinegar. The mother can be kept alive in a jar and when you want to make vinegar, lets say from old wine, you can pull a piece of the mother off and use it. The mother reproduces and that particular mother will make a unique vinegar distinct to that culture. This is why I am collecting some different mothers to see what kind of taste variety I will get from different mothers. Check out images and videos of mother of vinegar online. Vinegar mother looks sort of like well formed frog spawn. Mother of vinegar is a bio film comprised of cellulose and bacteria (I found that extremely interesting.) After my mother forms I will take a photo and do a separate post on vinegar making because it is fascinating.
ok, how about the Motor Cycle Maintenance? Are you a rider? We were til we moved north and started building. No time to ride, and here we are living in riders heaven!
i’m glad you asked because i saw in one of your comments make a reference to riding up somewhere and i thought to myself…i bet she rides.
yes i do ride, love to ride. my bike is still in california at my dads shop.
when i saw that reference you made i thought..yep! she must, there is just something about the motorcycle culture people!
to be clear i am NOT saying mother of vinegar is morgellons. i am just saying it is an interesting model (for what cellulose and bacteria look like). sharon remember that blob picture i sent you (from the dog)?
hi fuzzy, i replied back to you and sharon but i think it said it is to sharon. just some interesting thoughts in regards to bio films. look at w
hat mother of vin looks like. awk for sure, though she is good for us. it is just an idea to what bacteria and cellulose look like (interesting)
very interesting indeed
